History:
Originally registered in February 2007 by a "D S." for an unknown purpose (the Wayback Machine didn't give much of an insight as to why). This version of the website continued until the domain expired exactly 10 years later in February 2017.
The newest iteration of the domain, as can be seen, was registered on the 22nd of August 2022, by a now defunct TikToker as a programming project. Having originally named the project iPong, he later changed it to DeathPong, as registered the domain to reflect it as such.
This iteration continued as fuctional until c. December 2022 until the website started displaying a default NGINX server landing page. It later completely went blank, and the domain naturally expired in August 2023. The domain has not been reregistered since, so it's up for grabs by anyone who wants it.
Description:
Originally, a website where you and another randomly selected user could play Pong. Where every time you scored a point, the other person's IP would be revealed, and vice versa. (See Screenshot 1)
When one person won (as in, the other person's IP address was completely revealed), the loser would have their IP flash on screen, with the text "no escape", and the background colour having been turned to red. The game would just sort of end for the winner, and they would have to manually reload the page. (See Screenshot 2)
